Rulebase Radar: A fraud co-pilot for your customer services team
I'm excited to share Rulebase Radar, our fraud copilot for customer services teams.
Radar sits within your customer service tools, like Zendesk and Intercom, to provide your agents with real-time fraud risk *before*, *during*, and *after* incoming calls.
Before the agent even answers the incoming call, we run checks on the phone number and caller network:
- Has a customer called with this phone number before?
- Is this number registered to a suspicious VoIP rather than a real mobile network?
During the call, we run a real-time analysis of the ongoing call based on voice and behavioural characteristics:
- Does the call seem to match a previously identified fraud script?
- Is the caller trying to steal information about a customer/use stolen information to take over a customer's account?
- Does the caller's voice match a sample previously added to a fraudster watchlist?
After the call, we generate an in-depth report on all flagged calls for the fraud team to investigate further.
In the video above, I show an example of a caller using a VoIP call system to try to change a customer's details, but this works for many other scenarios involving attacks on customer services.
Is this a need for your customer services/fraud teams? We'd love to speak with you. We'll work with you closely to match the risk models and scoring to your specific needs and use cases.
